What was and is to come

Yesterday went as planned with both a pleasant surprise and one unexpected not so good.  But not the end of the world stuff.
It started pretty well as normal but it was one of those days I seemed to be battling to have it all together.  I had things to prepare for a meeting and I battled to get all I needed.  In the end I said to Merril I have what I have.  It turned out ok, but getting to that point was more drama than I was expecting.
I had my meeting.  Merril dropped me there and then went off doing the banking.  I did ring her when I was finished.  What she only told me later was she was sitting in a Rav 4 at a car lot getting a feel for it.  I did not know it was a car lot and asked her if it was some random Rave 4 in the shopping centre car park she was sitting it.
While at the our Pantry waiting for Merril I was informed it was the day we were to have a Market.  I got that completely wrong.  I thought it was the 2nd Wednesday of the month but it was the first which is when we have a market.  Oh well.  Missed that one.  The next is week three.
Merril and I went off to have lunch.  While heading there we saw someone we know sitting at a table with their computer.  We sat with him and had lunch together.  I had what he was having and it turned out to be way bigger than I expected.  It does not often work this way often but at tea time I was still full.
We had a chance to meet someone he knew at the shopping centre.  From Bhutan.  He had been invited to a breaky I have here on Saturday.  Turned out he knew a few of the people there.
After that we did some shopping and went home.  We had a kip and then later went out again to an appointment we had.
All in all it was a good day.  Today promises to be more relaxing than anticipated.  I am having breaky with a mate.  We were to have lunch with my bro on the Sunshine Coast but he rang to say he had double booked.  It is next week now.  It was a relief really.
