To Be or Not To Be?

I seem to be seeing something clearer than I ever have before.  I can be wrong.  I get it wrong.  But right now, the way I am seeing things is stark.
It seems to me that more than ever before there are emerging two camps.  They are diametrically opposed and both are convinced of the correctness of their cause. 
Often it seems one side wins but there is a significant and vocal number opposed to their thinking.  Down the track a path is pursued diametrically opposed to the one the place was on.  This means some are happy and then unhappy.
This is particularly difficult for the side that does not have a voice as loud as the other.  They can be made to look (and I have seen it) foolish.  Yet it seems to me there is a way that can appear right and noble, but it leads to a place no-one wants to go.
I tend to have a worldview that says someone cannot hide who they ae forever.  Initially they can say all the right things and appear to be a friend, but at a strategic time their true colours are revealed.  It is at that point followers realize their concerns were not what mattered, but the agenda of the ones they are following was.
What I find particularly sad is that sometimes people can follow a deceptive lead for all the right reason.  It seems often a person’s heart is in the right place, but the path that is followed has an unknown turn down the track, and the goal that may have been noble is lost in the agenda of the one leading.
What I see at the moment, is one endevouring to plug a hole in a dam while all around other holes are appearing.
