The Final Chase...Are You Ready?

​I have a saying I jokingly say on occasions which is, “when the going gets tough, the tough get going – fly British Airways.”  When I get crook, I need to determine that I am not just being slack.
Now is one of those times.  I have been into it and enjoying what I am doing, but have found I have been losing momentum.
Many are familiar with the cream applied to the face to nip potential cancers in the bud.  I am using that stuff at the moment, but it is a solution my doctor recommended I get.  It is only available from a chemist at Stanford.  It works in 5 days rather than the longer time normally taken.
I am using that and reckon I can see why it works in five days.  It seems particularly strong.  I did not expect what has been happening.
I had all sorts of plans for yesterday afternoon but in the end all were scrapped and I went to bed.  I scrapped last night’s activities also along with the couple of things I was doing today (seeing my bro on the sunshine coast, and breakfast with a mate.)  I have cleared the decks and reckon I will spend time in bed.
Merril being a former nurse had seen this sort of thing before and warned me time off was on the cards.   Me being a typical guy dismissed what was said but can see now it is the way of it.
There are a few things coming up for the week-end so it seems important to me to rest up while I can.  I am not used to laying low but reckon I need to be an undercover agent for a bit.  “Undercover” being the predominant word.
Fortunately these things “come – to pass” and it will soon pass. 
In the meantime, home is where I am.
