Strategies

​There is a particular country at the moment that appears to be a warmonger.  They have many on tender hooks as to what they have planned and what they may do next.  Like many I guess I ask myself why.  Particularly seeing as the country they are bullying appears only to want to be in peace and determine their own future.
It has got me thinking about strategies that I have heard about and seem to fit. 
Those countries that seem to be the troublemakers at this time, seem to share commonalities.  All seem to want to control the media.  All are ruled by those who seem to rule for their own gain rather than the majorities gain, and all who are secure in their rule seem to want to export their control.
There is one particular country in the middle east that is like that.  I have met several people born in that country that now call Australia home, and they have told me their reason for leaving was they did not like others telling them how to think.  That to me is a classic symptom of a country ruled by those who are in it for their own gain, and will not abide opposition.
Having said that I do not believe any man-made government be it democracy, socialism, theism or communism is perfect.  The Titanic can be bare or opulent but there is only safety in the lifeboats.
I do not know if I am right or wrong but what I am seeing at the moment seems to fit.  The trouble making country controls the media to the point that any message received is that which the government wants.  The country seems to be ruled by one who has ambition for himself rather than the people.  They seem to want to export their control.
One of the classic strategies seems to be to take minds off current problems by creating a diversion.  A perceived threat.  It matters not if the threat is real or perceived as the media is controlled so the population has no way of verifying a matter or not. 
It seems most people are patriotic to their country even if they despise the leadership.  Just about any refuge or person who has moved here I have spoken to, speaks highly of their country and would move back of things were better (there are exceptions but that is what they are – exceptions).
I do feel the same sort of noose is tightening around the necks of Western democracies.  More and more the media is controlled.  There is pride in freedom of speech, but it is a freedom within the boundaries of what can be expressed.  Even if it is reasonable, if it does not conform to the way of thinking it is taboo.
It is not universal, but it is happening more and more that rulers are in it for themselves.  What is more important to them is acceptance by fellow power brokers around the world, then their own people’s needs.
There is a control that is being exported.  It is not obvious but subtle.  I am not talking about the rightness or wrongness of it but mandating the covid vaccine seems to me to be a dress rehearsal for total control.
Throw in the proliferation of natural disasters and the world has never seemed a more insecure place to me.
Yet to me there is hope.  There are plenty of lifeboats.
