Still going Strong (insert whatever word seems appropriate)

Well here we are at post 1,800.  That is close to 5 yeas worth.
Normally I make a song and dance about reaching milestones (or should that be kilometre stones) like this.  But not this time.  This time I am going to undertake a great social experiment.  Actually, social might be a bit strong.  It does not involve million or even thousands for that matter.  Ok not even hundreds.  Oh alright it is just me.  But it is an experiment.
Until now I have set a limit of between 400 and 600 words.  400 was never the problem.  Often I reached 600 and broke through that barrier and looked down to find I had exceeded my limit.  I would then go back and edit.  Mostly a word or a phrase here or there.  Sometimes a paragraph was deleted.  One way or the other I would get it below 600.
For the next hundred, unless I indicate otherwise, I will set the limit to be between 300 and 500 words.  I do not think the 300 will be a problem.  It is the 500 I will need to watch.  Unless it is like “suborbital” and relief will come quicker.
It pleases me how quickly the limit comes up.  I do think keeping it within limits may be harder.  I had to write something recently that could not be more than 100 words.  Boy did I choose my words carefully.  I really do not think there was one wasted word and where phrases seemed verbose, I would say the same thing more succinctly.
So here I am already at over 260 but who is counting?  I actually think this will do me good.  I am sure there will be times I will warm to a subject and be inclined to go on and on.  (Like I put in something once and the assessor put “you do, you do.”).  Still I am not bitter and twisted.  Probably just as well really cause though I remember their name I would not have a clue where they live.
Still up to 500 should be ok.  I can still share deep and meaningful stuff like this and say what I want to say.
It just means that when I reach 400 I need to watch carefully.  I am not there yet so I can continue with this deep dialogue.  So how are you?  I am well thanks, thanks for asking.
