Spa

Tuesday turned out to be completely different than expected.
Usually of a Tuesday I prepare for a get together of an evening.  A number of people gather here, and we talk about what we heard on the Sunday at church.
Fortunately I had done a heap of preparation on the Monday and Tuesday morning early.  It amazes me how often that happens.  I get ready early and it is just as well as it turns out there will be no time later.
That’s the way Tuesday was.  We had a spa that we wanted to sell.  We were hardly using it and decided we could use the space better.  Besides even when it is hardly used it costs to maintain it using power and chemicals.
So while I was getting ready for Tuesday night, Merril was “staging” the spa.  That meant giving the area a clean, having the spa running and moving anything that ruined a good shot for advertising.  I helped Merril move stuff.  About 11.30 Merril got the shot. I moved everything back.
Within ½ an hour someone contacted us interested in the spa and after some details. So I moved stuff away from the spa again.  They were in Narrangba and came and visited us. They actually lived in Burpengary not far from us.  They were of English descent and had moved from South Africa about 16 years ago.
They looked over the spa and gave a deposit and said they would be back in ½ an hour to get preliminary stuff (we through in the fence and anything else that would help their set up.)
Sure enough they were back.  Merril had been loosen screws to make their job easier.  They came back and we all did the rest. They took away sides, and fences and carpet grass and anything that would make the moving of the spa easier.  They said they would be back at 4.30 (when the son in law finished work) to get the spa.
So Merril and I cleared and moved the table that needed moving to take out the spa.  Long story short the spa went after a false start (it was mounted on a trailer but too high to get out our car port.
It went and then we had to put back the table, populate it and I needed to print out stuff for the get together.  We had the get together and no one would have known the drama we had just experienced.  Cept there was a space and fence missing.  A big gap really.  It will be populated.  But not for a few days.
