Sloth Like

On this spot on July 4th 2024 nothing happened.  By nothing I mean nothing.
The day is my day off.  Sometimes I am really busy and sometimes I am sloth like.  This time I was like the latter.
Oh we did go to get chicken that is donated to the church, but the trip really proved to be in vain.  They told us they had none and to come back next week.  They are very good and whenever we have a free lunch their chicken is a highlight.  To be honest so is so much else. 
I have noticed that there is more and more of a variety of food stuffs being provided.  It is so good.  I tell anyone who is there how good the tucker is, and it is going from really good to great.
Anway that did not happen on my day off.  We were just collecting chicken at that point.  Oh and booing blue cars we saw as NSW supporters.  At first there were hardly any blue cars but after a while we saw more.  At one stage there was one parked on each side of the road and Merril had to boo her side and I booed mine.  When we ran out of cars I saw a blue thing in the middle of the road to guide people as to what is the middle.  That got a boo.
After that taxing activity it was time for a rest after lunch.  We did that really well.  Like we were made for it really.  There is a reason we are so good at sleeping of course and that is practice.  Practice, practice, practice.  Personally I cannot see myself moving on from mastering sleeping.  In fact, I do look forward to an afternoon nap.
It was close to dark when we got up.  Still, I had enough energy to go from the bed and collapse into a chair in front of the tele.  I think we saw part of Antique Roadshow, The Chase and the moment we had been waiting for – the news.
Like so often it was a bit of a disappointment.  There seems to be little to like about what is happening to people and places at the moment.  It seems that worse and worse behaviour is being presented.
Still, it was my day off.  After Selling Houses Australia I wandered off to bed.  Bit early but I did not mind working on my sleeping technique.  I feel like I am getting better.
