Sleep Deprived

Day two of no sleep in the afternoon. I can’t call it a nana nap as I am not a nana. So whatever it is called I have gone without it. I am sleep deprived. Actually I feel pretty good. I had a sore thigh yesterday. I thought maybe it was a product of getting old. I did not know where it came from.

Then I remembered the day before. I lugged stuff down the stairs from the third floor of our holiday unit. It was the first time ever the bags were heavier going home then they were going there.

Normally there is less food and so things are lighter. There was less food alright, but we had hit a bookstore pretty hard. Three times we went there. Times two and three were record spending for us at a bookstore. Time three eclipsed time two. Anyway, I remembered having lugged suite cases and determined that is what did it.

So yesterday I was sore. After seeing a mate I sorted stuff I was taking to am market to try and sell. What I learned was it is possible to sit there and lose money. The cost of securing the site was more than I made.

I did get to meet a local fellow though who has been into table tennis. They gave me their contact details and I want to get him around to play table tennis. His wife said he was very good. We shall see. The table I have had the final of the Australian Open played on it years ago.

So I sorted stuff. Then we went and cleaned a hall. Hot work.

When we came home I had the car to pack for the next day at the markets. I needed to be set up by 6am. I packed the car, and the load took up more space than I thought. The back door would not shut. I had to unpack stuff and move tables then repack. Seeing the back door shut even then was an unknown.

Because it started so early I did not sleep real good as I did not want to oversleep and miss the start.

Finally, it did close. Or so I thought. When we went to set up at the markets the car beeped at us that a door was open. It was that one. I ensured it was secure and could not open but some senser said it was still ajar so it beeped at us all the way. Fortunately that was not far. If it were any distance we would have had to stop the beeping.

Close time was 12 noon. I had sold $19 of stuff. One $5 thing and two $2 things and a $1 imaginary thing that was me testing the square worked.

At home I had a heap of emails to write and something to prepare.
So that brings us to now. I am looking forward to sleep tonight but do not know I will be able to relax until I have delivered what I prepared.

Anyway that is tomorrow. I will let it take care of itself. I have done what I can. Really that is the best I can do.
