Shed

Yesterday was a one foot in front of the other day.
I had determined to rearrange the shed.  It was a huge ask and something lurking in the background that had to be done.  What I wanted to do was transfer the stands from the middle of the room to the sides.  My thinking was it would create more room.  Plus Merril and I are downsizing and it was a good opportunity to determine what we really needed.
I saw the job in two parts.  Rearranging the shed and finding out what we really had and then going through things to decide what could go.  Merril was meeting an agent and had a few things to do at her dad’s house.  So we were both busy for the day.
An added complication for me was that I was not to lift heavy stuff or do stuff that tightened stomach muscles excessively.
I did get stage one done though.  It took all day to do.  It was even bigger than I imagined but I did things in parts and had rests between achievements.  I could not believe the number of empty boxes we had.  I also found a metal container containing more containers!  I was actually pleased to find that as the containers it contained were good and old.
I tend to gravitate to the older containers.  If I can use them great as decent old to me equates with rare.  I had set up two tables outside to put stuff on for sorting.  One of the tables ended up containing all empty containers.  The other is the sorting table.
I do have a desk in the room that I like to have for a “working on” table.  If I am wanting stuff I tend to organize what I need there.
Anyway as far as I am concerned it was a good start.
