Remarkable

If I am going to have an ordinary day, then I must admit my ordinary is pretty good by world standards I reckon.
Bed did seem a good place to be first thing this morning.  I got up over an hour later than normal but I thought there was no hurry to get up so I enjoyed the warmth a little longer.
I went to bed pretty cactus last night.  I had done some work in the yard.  Raking up and spreading mulch.  I was surprised at how cactus it made me.  I really know only one speed when I know what I want to do.  But later I felt it for sure.  So it was no surprise to me I slept so soundly.  When I say soundly, I mean soundly apparently.  I snore.
Anyway eventually I got up and did a few things.  Merril emerged and I was working on a spreadsheet I had started yesterday.  I had hoped to finish it then, but it was proving to be more challenging than I anticipated.
Probably the way I work on spreadsheets slows me down a bit to.  I like to type and then have a think.  Having a think saves me from a number of dramas down the track but it did not save me from one today.
The original was in Dropbox.  Copy and paste is different in excel for the web.  I went to copy and paste and the whole program closed down.  That is easy enough to live with but I discovered it had closed all programs and the one I had been working on on my computer I had not saved.  So everything was lost and I needed to start again.  Oh well.  I did not have any pressing engagements at the time so I did it saving often as I went.
Eventually we left to go clean.  I had something on top of the usual to do and I hoped to have it set up today.  As it turned out I was thwarted.   The hose had a piece missing which meant I could not clean the item prior to having it on display.  Oh well that can wait.
We then had to get a couple of bulbs for lights that needed replacing.  I sorta knew the light was on the way out when I heeded to explain to someone that our lounge light was our strobe light.  At least it was an older sort of light.  Some of the newer ones seem to be a nest of lights that need an electrician to replace.  After the bulbs we dropped off some stuff at the Salvo’s.
It was sleep time after lunch when we got home.  I enjoyed that then went back to the spreadsheet stuff.
It was not long before I joined several others in a meal together.  They went off to the opera and I came home and did a few things.  That brings me to now.  Real time.  And me now real time may finish up and wander off to bed.
Nothing great or really noteworthy but I am sorta glad.  There is a lot that could happen that would be noteworthy for the wring reasons.  But not today.  I guess it was remarkable in its insignificance.
