Re-Arrange

Thursday is my day off and boy did I have it off.  I slept some, watched some tele and stared meaningfully into the middle distance.   We were to have lunch with my bro but the weather was terrible where he was, and so we rearranged it.  It worked out well really as Merril received a message saying photographers were taking pics of her dads house for sale next day.  So Merril went and did a few things in preparation.
The next day I had a mind to work.  There was a task I wanted to get done.  I knew it would take a bit and a good bit of time, but it was there to do.  I decided Friday was the day I as going to do it.
I failed to take before and after pics. as it is very different than it was.  I wanted to make a sitting area in a place we had cleared.  It meant removing everything (including stones which I wanted to keep and had a use for in the scheme of things), weeding, leveling, putting down shade cloth, putting back a table and chairs and the stones.  I did not want the area to feature straight lines but rounded edging.
I was reminded I am not as young as I used to be.  Merril asked if I was tired.  I was bone weary but incredibly motivated to get it done.  Once something starts to take shape I am like a dog with a bone and want to get it finished.  Finishing to me is making it look like I was never there.  That means making sure everything is away.
I was satisfied with the results.  I ran into a few difficulties but when I asked Merril her thoughts I went with them.
I know the next couple of areas I want to do.  Again, there is a bit of work but it will be more open and accessible.  That is the plan anyway and so far so good.
