Quieter Time Activities

Yesterday was a pretty normal day though a few things did not go as planned.  And we had some roll reversal.  Normally Merril is inside and I am in the yard but for a portion of yesterday, that was reversed.  Merril was dealing with weeds while I was in our shed area rearranging some things.
I managed to empty one bookshelf completely and now use just one to house our books and reference library.  That took attaching some shelves properly and going through a number of books deciding which to hold on to and which to give away.  We only wanted three shelves of books and the rest of the shelves for our reference library. We managed that – sort of.
The bookshelves that was our reference library is going to my study room.  It will mean I need to do a few things to accommodate it.  But it is doable and will among other things house our excess books.
Our process is as normal.  One goes through stuff determining what the want to keep and the other does the same with what is left.  What we keep is ours rather than yours or mine.  Works for us.
The setting up of the room is a work in progress.  I had set aside a day for the process, and this is now day three.  We do heaps of other stuff as well, but I was not expecting the need to visit Bunnings and drilling.
We had also planned to do a Trash and Treasure run to drop off some things we no longer want but others may want at very reasonable process (set by Trash and Treasure).
The road was chockers.  There must have been an accident on the highway as an incredible amount of traffic was heading up our side roads. 
What did surprise though was the number of people heading to the dump.  It was backed up big time.  We decided it was good for another day and headed off to do some banking.  Same problem. Traffic everywhere.  So that was put on hold to a quieter day.
We came home, had a rest and worked long into the night.  This time both doing our thing inside.
A good day.  Tasks not finished yet, but progress is seen.
