Posting

​I find it hard to believe.  This is article 900.  When I started out I really had no figure in mind.  I just decided to post one a day and here I am a few years later still at it.  I reckon I have repeated myself a few times but at this age that is allowed.  I do try though to not repeat the same story (not always possible.)  The theme may be the same, but I try to use different illustrations from my vast experience.  Would you believe my limited experience?  Would you believe, a few things I have picked up along the way?
Often times, I just write about what has been happening around the home.  Just as well really it is of interest to me.  It would be really sad if what I went through, I found totally boring.  For sure there are things that are, but there are others where I am an extremely interested participant.
It is not a song and a dance thing.  Well maybe I could make it one.  Song.  “My name is Peter and I like to post, then I go to the kitchen and eat some toast.  Ok it is a work in progress.”  Dance.  It happens on the inside.
They reckon it takes 30 days to form a habit.  I guess 900 shows this posting stuff is now a habit.  Thankfully, it is one I enjoy.  It would be horrible if it was one I wanted to break, but found it impossible to do - if every post was a “doh” moment, and I felt to join “posters anonymous,” needing to confess my addiction.
There are things I write about which are just everyday stuff.  Other stuff is reminiscing.  Still other stuff is home truths.  Whatever it is, I do enjoy writing.  A perfect fit is someone who enjoys reading.  After all what is writing without reading?
Sometimes I do not write anything for several days.  At other times I write several things.  Like this is the third thing in a row.  One thing leads to another, and I need to strike while the iron is hot.
I do not feel it is ever safe to assume in anything.  I cannot guarantee I will write more tomorrow.  For a start I cannot even guarantee tomorrow.  All things being equal it will be the case.  But one day, tomorrow will be different to any today I have ever experienced.  I had a friend that posted regularly.  I enjoyed their stuff.  One day it ceased out of the blue.  I sure was not expecting it, but it happened. 
So for me, I post while I can, as the day is coming when I will not post.  There will be a gap, and I will be briefly mourned (I better be!  No pressure but make it happen!).  The thing is, I anticipate I will be otherwise engaged, and I reckon that as much as I enjoy posting and reading posts, I will be enjoying what I am doing at the time, more.
