Playful

Here I was forgetting that first light and sunrise are later the further north one gets.  In Burpengary first light today is 5.37 whereas up here it is 5.51.
That was my rude awakening today.  I get up early and look for first light, but I was surprised to see it as late as it is here.
Anyway that being said I thought I would have time to post before breakfast in that case.  Though I will probably get some sun rise photo’s this morning.  Doesn’t matter though as I can use one Merril took yesterday if it comes to it.
There was something I read in the James Clear email that I relate to.
"Remain playful as your responsibilities increase. It's easy to become serious when people and results depend on you, but nearly everyone's performance improves when they proceed lightly through the world."
I know I look serious, but I really find there is a time to be serious and a time not to be.  I tend to but serious about many things while putting a playful face on much.  Particularly things I cannot control.  I am very much a follower of doing the best I can in a playful manner.  Results are something I cannot control.
Besides it is no wonder I am a mix.  My name is Peter (rock) Graeme (stern faced) Kuskie (flower).
I think I inherited the some of the way I am from my dad.  He was a very funny man but serious when he knew he had to be.  I remember someone saying they would not want to cross him, and I also remember him holding court in a thank you speech that had everyone laughing.
I reckon I tend to be the same way.  I am serious enough when organizing things, but I always do it playfully.  To me the bottom line is getting a needful thing done and where it requires help - try to have others enjoy the process.
To me a task, where possible, should be joyful to do for everyone.
