Pit Stop

It seems breathing is pretty important.  I did a bit of that yesterday.  It seemed to be having a positive effect.
I reckon I did a bit of blinking too.  It seemed to come pretty naturally to me.
Sleeping was another thing I did a bit of.  I could not tell you much of what happened while I slept.  But I do think I must have needed it or I would not have been able to sleep.  I really am not one given to much sleep.  Probably these days I am not getting as much as I should.  I really do not know.  But I do know that often I will want to be up doing something.
That was the sort of day it was.  I know I did some eating too.  That seems to be necessary to sustain my life.  The same goes for drinking water.  I crave eating and drinking.  It is like it is something built in.
I suppose I could have done some reading if I wanted but that was not something I was really into.  I preferred to spend time staring off into the middle distance.
It was a beautiful day.  We seem to have had a run of them of late.  Not that anything was done related to it.  It may have just well been raining cats and dogs but I am glad it was not.  If I am going to spend the day quietly I prefer the day being like it was.
I know I feel better doing something but sometimes doing nothing is the thing to do and has a more beneficial effect that doing heaps.  That is the way I was yesterday really.  I am still getting used to such things.  Like it has only been 65 years and I still have a lot to learn.
I am ok with it though.  I used to beat myself up for spending days like I did yesterday after I had been crook.  Yet I have come to realize that sometimes it is beneficial, and the object is a pit stop rather than a pull out.  Refueling may involve a stop but it is a necessary stop.
