Now is the Time

Ok, I admit I had not thought about it much but yesterday turned out quiet a bit different than I imagined it would.  I was set for a quiet day.  That was the sort of day I had the day before.  I have been basically keeping a low profile as I was not feeling as well as I can.  Though I do think I figured out why.
Anyway Thursday I have off and start the day having breaky with a mate at 8am.  We did that and as usual I enjoyed chatting with him and we ranged far and wide in our discussions.
Just in passing we talked about what else we had planned and he was doing some shopping, and I mentioned how I wanted to look at the cost of some stones Merril and I needed to collect and lay.
Next thing he was saying he had a trailer and would collect me to pick up the stones.  I thought that was great and we agreed he would come to our pace shortly and get me.
I went home and Merril was mowing the lawn.  I find it virtually impossible to see Merril working and not to do something.  I ended up blowing the paths, removing a dead tree and putting green waste in the green bin.  It is chockers now.
My mate arrived and assessed the path we were building and determined the amount we were getting was the right amount. (I am so glad we did not get more as what we got was way more than needed.)
Getting the stones was easy and we unloaded them at home and put them where they were going.
He then left to do his shopping which is wife had said she would join him in doing.
I can’t believe what a God send he was.  I spent time spreading the stones and setting up the place the way I wanted it.  I then had a rest and continued working on the place in the afternoon.  It was determined more potting mix was needed for the plants we were putting into pots.  More was got and all of it was used.  Another lot is needed.
As I say I did not expect to be doing as much yesterday but it really was a case of “strike while the iron is hot.”
