Not Home Yet

I would like to say I have had heaps of people ask me why I called my site “Not Home Yet.”  That is what I would like to say, but no one has asked me so I’ll tell anyway!
The thought is from Hebrews 11:10 “For he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God.”  I remember telling my boss at work that there would come a day when I would be lucky to be an old photo and a memory.  I can imagine someone in 200 years time placing me in a family tree.
I honestly feel that the above verse relates to me.  I so have not arrived and feel I am on a journey to another place.  Sometimes I stay on the path and sometimes I diverge from it.  There is another story that is me and it is from 2 Kings 7.  A guy called Bob Bennett sang a song about it and these words impacted me big time.  “I’m not one who’s got it all in place telling you what you should do, I’m just one old hungry beggar showing you where I found food.”  I need help along the way, and will accept most of what I am offered.  If it helps me grow and achieve what I am aiming for great!  I'm all for it!
If one googles “Not Home Yet” there are many entries on it (though since having a Weebly page my site is now 2nd).  Chief among them relates to a song sung by Steve Curtis Chapman of that name (it is a great song).  So instead of taking the name nothomeyet.com I went for nothomeyet.net.  I have even had someone offer me money to buy that from me.
In Google there are 115,000,000 results for not home yet.  I would sooo not like to be result 114,999,999.  If others are anything like me, they just look at the first few pages of results.  Mostly a satisfactory answer or reason is there, and there is no need to look further.
Anyway I chose the site name Not Home Yet as I feel it sums up me.
