Motivations

Every now and then I want to return to my favourite topic.  It can seem incredibly wishy washy but in fact it is the exact opposite.  If what I was thinking about this morning is right.
I was actually considering love and its opposite hate.  Not a love that is only shown when someone agrees with me, but a love that transcends agreement and embraces another even when I do not agree with the stance taken. 
I was wondering if love lasts forever.  I was considering the ones who do hateful, hurtful things.  Their actions are what I want to come to an end.  When that sort of thing happens I always look beyond it to what I consider a better day.  When hurt and pain are a thing of the past.
So much medical research is done to end hurt and disease.  Yet no medical research is needed to discover an antidote for love.  Love is desirable.  Exhibitions of love are always something that is seen to be something I want to continue.
Not love that is falsely called that but in reality is just after something for itself.  Something that if rubbed the wrong way is really just rude or proud.
I guess it really is what I am fond of talking about.  To me it really is true I can fool some of the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time but not all the people all the time.”  What is inside inevitably comes out.
And I have found love genuinely liberates.  It is not like I need to wrangle what I feel into my belief system.  I really do not need to squeeze it in to try and make it fit all the while attempting to hide discomfort.  I just know that love does not cause disquiet in me.
For sure there are those motivated by self-interest alone, who have no qualms causing grief to others in the pursuit of their own way.  But although I would like circumstances to be different, and will work towards that end, I must always remain true to myself.
Thankfully I reckon love does last forever.
