Methinks

It was my turn to look at the dictionary.  The word was “methinks.”  That seems right for me.   I give it my best shot anyway.
There was nothing very profound today.  I did think maybe I am doing something right.  I got spammed on Wednesday, sick as a dog Thursday and contacted on Facebook by someone who I do not know at all today.
I got up at the usual time and managed to get heaps done by 7am.  I think the birds like me up early.  They arrive expecting to be fed.  If there is stuff there I do it.  It actually quietens them down.  Once they are fed, they move on.  If the baby does not leave soon, we will need to do what we did last year and have a month of no food, so the baby thinks it is not worth it to come here.  I also prepared and sent some emails while one major one I just prepared.
I was expecting a visitor about the time Merril was going out for the morning.  They came and as usual I really enjoyed their visit.  All we do is talk but I reckon he and his wife are very much like Merril and I.  He is very much into temperaments, and I like where his thinking leads him.  It is not about making a box for everyone but gaining an understanding of others to help relate better to them.  It is not “methinks” but “him thinks”.
After he left, I finished up the email I was working on and made sure the roster I work on was up to date, and everywhere it needed to be.  I use Dropbox and find it really handy to be able to put things in there and have others access and edit them without leaving their home.
After that I did what I do so well.  Sleep.  It actually works out I have about the same sleep as others but split it into two parts.  Late morning, I often feel like a kip as I have generally been up more than six hours anyway.
I had sent a text to Merril asking if I should have lunch or wait to have lunch with her.  She rang back later to say I should go ahead.  So I did.  All the time I had my phone with me as I was expecting to hear from the doctor with a new antibiotic.  He did ring eventually.  After 5.30.  It seems I am having reactions to more antibiotics than I did, as the one prescribed was one I had not had trouble with before.  Anyway, I have a new script to take to the pharmacy tomorrow.  This could wait except it is an infection I want to see knocked on the head.  Hopefully the new antibiotic does not make me crook.
I am secretary of an organization so I spent the afternoon working on a template to hopefully make my job easier.  That may just be a dream though.  I took on rosters only to have people say they wanted to be on it and putting them on only to have them say they had changed their mind.  Another person is leaving altogether.  There have been other issues that have made the job interesting to say the least.
Methinks methinks a fair bit, but I would not have it any other way.  I tend to think and act which gives me more time to think and act.  If this is a rod for my back then it aint so bad.  Methinks.
