Many Voices

I am fond of saying how I think there are heaps of voices and none is insignificant.  Things are said by really young people and really old people and lots of in between people.  There are loud voices and soft voices.  I know someone who speaks so softly I cannot hear them.  How can I agree or disagree with something I cannot hear?
It is one of the reasons why, when albums are on special (really special) I buy them. Even if I have never heard the person or group.  Often I find they are incredibly bland, but a lot of times there can be one song that really impacts me.  Mostly people do not do things just for the heck of it.  They tend to have something to say.  I may relate to just one thing but if I do, I find it totally worth it.
That’s one of the reasons I cannot write something or someone off.  Down the track it may be that what I am hearing is like I am hearing it for the first time.  Its impact may be limited now, but in a number of years what is being said is what I am experiencing.
I am not the only one ever to experience what I am experiencing.  Maybe I am in my circle, but sure as eggs there are others who have experienced it, and come out the other side.  For a bit of fun one time I was looking at using big words.  I could not believe my eyes when on the internet I found a site called “big words.” I am yet to draw a blank on the internet on any topic I may be interested in.
I think it is true though that “actions speak louder than words.”  It is probably one of the reasons we are fond of joking “don’t do what I do, do what I say.”  Being divided like that is a tough gig.  To me it is better to be one or the other.  How can I give my whole self to one thing if it is two things?
Some, it seems, just like the sound of their own voice.  But even then, I find it is a good thing to listen.  I cannot account for the motivation of others, but I can account for mine.  There may be something that is said in a multitude of words that drives something home to me.  It may be just what I need at the time.  It may not be too.  But if I do not listen, I will never know and could potentially miss out.
What is said may be said by someone considered an authority on the subject, or a person of influence, or it may be said by someone who is generally overlooked.  Who said it matters less to me than what is said.
