Make

It could be make or break time.  I just thought I would say that as it is my turn to pick a word at random from the dictionary.  The word my finger fell on was “make.”
As in make a cake.  I do not think it was wise to use that illustration.  I am thinking of cakes now.  While I am hungry.  Not a good look.  But y needs are simple.   Just something like I see on Bake Off would do.  Multi tied.  Many colours.  Sumptuous looking.  Actually something from Woolies would do the trick.
I like what I heard someone say on an ad for the show.  “We eat with our eyes.”  Anyway enough of cakes.  There are other things to make.  Like chocolate fudge.  Or creamy biscuits.
Hmmm I think it is time to change tracks.  But before I do I think I will have an iced vovo.  I had two.  Part of me is satisfied.
I’m a guy.  I’m obliged to talk about something like making a shed.  I’m in the right suburb.  It is like shedsville here.  Just about everyone seems to have a shed.  And a Four Wheel Drive. 
We have done our part.  We have three.  “The Shed, Mini Me and the Studio.”  “Mini me” we made ourselves and it houses our garden gear.  “The Studio” sounds all fancy like but the next time it is used as that will be the first.  There is a space for it to happen, but two thirds is our tools.  Dad having been into that means we have a few.  Some are huge.  Merril jokes they were used on the Ark.
It looks like I spend a bit of time trying to make something of myself.  I do not consciously think of it like that but when I think how I read and spend a bit of time trying to solve problems then maybe I do.
Really I am just trying to make the best of what is in front of me.  It is only a small patch but it is my patch.  I want to get it right for myself and others.
Speaking of patches I need to make the patch of ground that is our front yard tidy.  I have never seen weeds grow so big.  As Jack newton the golf commentator would say “elephants go in there to die.”
Another patch we created was with clumping bamboo.  The idea was to create a screen from the windows next door.  Well it worked.  Probably a little too well.  They have grown tall and thick and lean over into our house gutters.
There are definitely things I have made well around the home.  Like I made a hole in the wall when I collapsed really well.  Of course, there are other things I have made well around the home.  I would like to say they are too numerous to mention.  That is what I would like to say but they could definitely all be mentioned.
Still it seems to me this making thing seems to be part of the human condition.  It seems just about everyone is making stuff.  A lot is good.  Some is bad. 
Amyway. time to make tracks me thinks.
