Love to Wholeness

Maybe it is too much starting meaningfully off into the middle distance.  I really am captivated by a turn of phrase.  Like one I heard today.  I had never heard it before, but I liked it. “Love them into wholeness.”
I get totally amazed by the number of people I come across who really are responsive to someone caring.
I guess in one way I should not be surprised based on my looking at the census for this area.  It showed that four in 10 people had health issues.  Not to mention trends I see with homelessness and the increasing number of people that cannot afford to live in the manner in which they have become accustomed.  And that is not coming from a base of an excessive lifestyle, but a “making ends meet” lifestyle.
On the news or something like it I saw interviews today with everyday people and they were saying things are harder how.  There is a feeling that these are hard times.  They really are harder for more and more people.  Something I read a while ago indicated that the rich would get richer and the poor poorer.  I feel it is happening before my eyes.
It is no wonder it was said at the UN ages ago, “give us a leader, be he god or the devil and we will follow him.”  A lot of people embrace far out ideas as the people that espouse them actually care for their medical and food needs.
If I put myself in their shoes, I cannot blame them when no viable alternative is presented.   The west prides itself on freedom but it does seem to be a freedom for less and less.
Loving someone into wholeness does seem to be coming easier.  Love to me is very much a doing word.  It does no one any good if my words are words only.  That does not mean I embrace every need I see as I would drown in a moment.  I does mean that I do it when I can and feel to.
To me therein lies the rub.  I need to feel to.  I guess it is like employment.  There are plenty of jobs (and it seems more and more) for those who feel to love someone to wholeness.
