I will be glad when this shed goes in.  It is proving to be more of a drama than we anticipated.  It is still happening, but the order of events has been skewed.
First we told someone what we were after and they declared they would do it.  But we waited and waited and waited.  Merril and I just want it done.  We have plans for it and our other sheds.
We see our big shed as having our table tennis place, spar, table, piano and lending library books.  The shed we are adding will be a tool storage area and a place to do art.
There has been lots to do to make that happen.  We needed to clear out the place where the shed is going.  It had all our garden stuff including stuff I had completely forgotten we had.  All the garden stuff was to go into our other shed.  It had all our tools in it.
So the tools needed clearing out before the garden stuff could be added.  Well we had taken out the garden stuff, but the place looked a mess.  It totally went contrary to the way we see ourselves.  Neat.
The tools went out.  The only place for them was the covered ping pong table and surrounds.  That could happen as there is no table tennis happening at the moment.    It is going to give us a chance to go through the tools anyway.  Perhaps we really do not need 16 spanners.
We now have a place for the trailer behind the shed.  First though the boards need to come up, the mulch near-by moved, plants removed, and cemented in posts dug out.  It will be worth it.  Better be any way.
We had another guy quote on a shed.  He seemed totally uninterested, but he did it and we went with it.  Before it could be installed though we needed the current structure removed, the ground levelled, tree stumps removed, concrete added and council approval (to go close to the fence).
A company said they could concrete.  Merril and I eagerly awaited the date it was to happen.  Then he emailed to say something had come up and he was unavailable for a month and good luck with the job.  At the time of writing I have emailed someone else, and have been really surprised they have not got back to me.
We did not want the shed until the concrete went down.  What we communicated though and what happened were two different things.  Totally unexpectedly yesterday we were phone.  The shed will be there in 40 minutes.  It was being delivered from Toowoomba.
Now we have a shed ready to go up and the site unready for it.  Plus, there is still heaps to be done before we are ready.  Oh well.  We wanted the shed and we have it now.  Just as well we are mostly confined to our home.
Talk about different times.  We are going to a wedding today.  It is in Russia.  Sign of the times really.  We can be in two places at once.
One thing we do not lack at the moment is time.
