Inch by Inch (or centimeter by centimeter)

Today promises to be an interesting one again.
Our place has been identified as one that experiences “difficulty” with the internet.  That is right really.  We are now on another modem as we rang Telstra and told them we thought this one was faulty.  They did tests and found there was a problem.  As a result, they got us another modem. 
Thing is, nothing changed.  We get internet but so often the computer says we are not connected and we are.  At other times we ask for help within a program and it says something went wrong and we cannot get the help we are after.
Therefore we are getting NBN to the house for free.  They told us they could arrive any time from 8am to 12 noon.
Merril has an appointment and will be going out, but I can be home at the appropriate time.  It will be interesting to see if there is any change for the better.  I am told we can experience greater speeds.
I must be honest though and say maybe a gamer needs greater speed, but I have no problem with the speed at the moment.  Maybe I would really want it if I performed brain surgery via internet connected to Longreach.  But I send emails and watch a few video’s.
So that is this morning.  This evening others come over here.  We have had a break for a few weeks so it will be good to catch up with a number of people.
We put together a shelf set the other day.  Why mention that I hear you ask?  Well even if I don’t hear you ask that I am going to tell you anyway.
It was put up as a part of our downsizing and tidying the place.  On it are going car stuff so it will be available and at hand when the car gets a clean.  As a result, some things have gone from the shed (we call “the Studio”).
We are thinking that when the process is over we will have space available we can only dream of at the moment.
Ok this is day to day stuff.  Not over the top but day to day things.
