In it Together

I think I have said it a bit and totally think it is true.  We are all in this together.
Really to have the words of that statement reinforced I only need look at the lives of some rich.  I have nothing against a person acquiring wealth according to the rules.  What does get to me is those who amass wealth with thought only for themselves and often at the expense of others who pursue only a hand up rather than a hand out.  It is the rich who often fund charities.  They take the place of government and are often more responsible with the brass.
Ok I will never say never as I do not know what the future holds but I know that among the vast majority of people we need one another’s help on occasion.  All of us are attempting to make our way in the world and for the most part things work out.  There are occasion though that a helping hand helps another get past a difficult situation.  I help others out and others help me out.
This is not to pretend we are the same.  We are all different.  We all have our own unique fingerprint.  No two people are identical.  In looks they may be called identical twins but in personality each of us likes things to varying degrees.
Thankfully this is a good thing.  A number of us may like footy but we are different enough to bring different strengths to the table.  I may love the game but lack the financial nouse to set up a workable league.  Another may love the game and be a financial wiz.  I could have it work but he could have it work better.
To that end I really think it is important that each of us contribute to each other.  All at the back end of something are as important and needed as those at the front end.  Individually maybe I can’t but together often I can.
