I Knew That

I wasn’t confused.  Yeah right.  Yesterday I slept heavily in the afternoon.  It totally threw me.
Yesterday I did not do a lot as I was sort of unmotivated.  I moved the paint to its new home, but stopped, knowing that what I wanted to do was what I consider to be a days work.  I am swapping the contents of two storage areas.  One will become the paint and electrical area, and the other the garden area.
We had someone servicing our air conditioners while I worked in the shed.  Merril was at a quilting session.
In the afternoon Merril came home and we went and had lunch together.  She dropped me off to go pick up some stuff, while I set up for our free lunch. It was when she came back and we went home that some could have interpreted my response as confused.
We both had a rest.  When I awoke I thought it was Saturday.  Merril told me it was almost 6.  I thought I have slept till almost 6am.  I decided I must have needed it.   I quickly got up and got dressed for Saturday’s activities.  I thought it was unusually dark for the hour, but I thought I would watch the sun rise.
Merril had said she was going to cook Friday for Saturday.  She had not done it yet, but I thought she had waited till morning to do it. I went out the back and heard the back neighbour and kids.  I thought “they haven’t even been to bed yet.”  That was my, “hang on a minute” moment.
I went back inside and established it was 6pm rather than 6am.  I was sort of relieved but thought, “what am I going to wear tomorrow as I was in tomorrow’s cloths?”  First world problem really.  I had the rest of the evening to enjoy doing whatever I decided I was doing.
I sort of do not mind that.  Saturday had really come a bit quick.  But please do not tell anyone.  That is sort of between us.
