Hello Goodbye

Well here we are on the last day of our trip.  We will have breakfast and pack up.  Later there is a boat to Hamilton Island and then a plane trip to Brisbane.  After that is a drive home.
I will need to do the gathering of the pictures and making a movie maker movie when I get back as my card reader is not working.  Merril brought a tablet so I cannot do a transfer via usb and I am still working out how my camera can use wifi to transfer pictures.
Yesterday was a pretty laid back day.  We went to look at a place called “Lovers Cove.”  With the Island being so small no where is far from anywhere.  There was equipment for hire there and people snorkelling.  We got a few photo’s.
We also went to the gym.  Sounds impressive but we just went for a look.  I reckon I could do a workout on the door.  Opening and shutting it was enough without all the equipment there.
They had ping pong tables so Merril and I had a hit on one of those.  The other day I put a ball into a nearby garden and we could not reach it.  We told the powers that be and noticed it was still there.
A coffee from the coffee shop was in order so we got one and relaxed watching the rays and sharks swim up and down in their aquarium.  In another area people could “swim with the fish” so we went to the underground aquarium to watch that.  We could see the groper in what one person who came out of it called “a loo with a view.”
We had a swim in their pool-bar.  It was one of those where a person could swim up to the bar and order a drink.  We did not avail ourselves of that service, but we did swim there.
For dinner we went to one of the restaurants on site.  We then went and looked at the outdoor cinema.  They were playing a movie we were not interested in so we did not stay.
It has been a good time.  It really does take a few days to unwind.  Towards the end of day two I felt like I was relaxing.  It has been a nice break.
