Good Different

I think maybe I need to start working with what has been happening. I had big plans to do all this stuff around the yard yesterday.
Instead I think maybe because I had decided to do nothing the afternoon before I continued that as I had not finished.  It actually took me longer than I expected.
It ended up being not that I did not do anything, but I did not do anything around the yard.  I did lots of stuff around the computer that I am pleased to have done, and I believe will be good for future use and reference.  But the outside work remains for another day.
Merril has taken it on herself to look for, and fix, a leak in the spa.  Because it is a girl look it also involves cleaning up the floor of the spa and having everything look pristine.  I guess it shows what sort of a guy I am as Merril has taken that on and I have let her take that on.  No interference.  Help when it is called for.  Like us guys are good at lifting stuff.  Maybe not so good at communicating stuff.  The uggs often fail to be understood.
Merril found the leak and took a trip to Bunnings.  Advice she received and what she got was like a light bulb moment for me.  She got some tap with glue on one side made for patching wet leaks.  She used it and problem solved.
As a result of that last sentence I went and made sure the problem was solved.  It is.  Thankfully as we had the pump on all night.  Just as well there is no problem really as we have a get together in the room where the spa is behind  fence and them having to wade through water in carpets would not have been a good look.
I spent some of the day looking for files.  I have a new computer and was hoping I had backed up the files years ago onto a hard drive.   Turned out I had.  It was like needle in haystack stuff but I had a win.  I had asked for help and was really pleasantly pleased to come across them.
Today has dawned finer than I thought it would.  I have things to do but no real expectation of doing harder physical work.  That is set down for later in the week.  Today is mostly computer stuff again.
