Fresh

This is different.  I have never tried this before, and this is article 1553.  I have no idea what I am going to write about.  All I know really is what I want.  I want something fresh.  Something new.  Something where tomorrow I will want to tweek what is said, based on fresh insight.
That is not too much to ask is it?  I just know what it is like to have fresh break after having stale bread.  Older bread is good for toasting.  The age is sort of disguised.  But fresh bread is something different.
It is so good to go to the bakery and smell the fresh bread.  It is great to get it and bring it home still hot and fresh out of the oven.  I am a bit of a butter man.  I love to put a good bit of butter on the bread and eat it.  So good.
For me it is the same with fresh ideas.  Sometimes it seems I cannot write down stuff fast enough.  Ideas come thick and fast.  At other times it is sooo slow.  But I reckon life is like that.  Gotta strike while the iron is hot.  The way it is today, is not necessarily the way it will be tomorrow.  But I have now, and I go with the flow.
Not that yesterday’s bread is all bad.  What I had satisfied and sustained.  It can even have been special and memorable.  But what fed me yesterday does not feed me today.  It may even have been long life stuff.  But even long life has a use by date. 
I need something new.  Something fresh today.  I do not necessarily know what that is or will be.  When I am reading a book or doing a study, I have an idea where I am heading but for me one of the joys of discovery is the unexpected.  So often my mind goes in a tangent I was not expecting, and it takes me to a pleasant place I did not know existed.
I was reading a book one time and came to a section where I thought “this guy is inspired.”  The topic was very mundane and not something one normally would wax lyrical about, but to me it seemed all so effortless.  It was a joy to read.  For me it was unexpected.
So often writing is a slog.  Ideas and thoughts are eked out.  I start with just a concept.  A general idea of where I am heading.  But so often the more I get into it, the more I am into it.
I genuinely find that a lot.  Mist things do not start all inspired with me going 100 miles an hour.  Mostly it is more like start in first and go through the gears.  I end up going fairly fast and enjoying the ride but the start can seem slow and arduous.
No matter.  The journey gets better.  I often start in a desert and end in a rain forest.
