Eating

Well that was different.
Today is a day of the week I have set aside to visit my bro.  We usually do shopping followed by a good chin wag at his place.  Lately we have been purchasing a McMuffin each, and consuming it at his place. Along with an iced coffee.  After that we generally have biscuits.  Most of what was written there was totally unnecessary, but it is too late now.  Oh and this morning I ordered a Hash Brown and was clear it was for me.  Last time I ordered a hash brown for him and a hash brown for me.  I was not clear.  He had them both.  All I could do was look longingly at the hash browns as they were consumed.
This morning we had done our shopping and been to McDonalds drive through.  We had started on our iced coffees, and were ready to eat our McMuffins.  Just as we were about to start, we noticed that the McMuffins did not have a skerrick of filling.  No bacon, no egg, no cheese.  That stopped us in our tracks.
I needed to go back to McDonalds and tell them.  They gave us replacements.  What the attendant said though blew me away.  She said we were given “English McMuffins.”  Apparently, that is a McMuffin with nothing on it.  Like, that is a real thing.  I guess a person could take it home and add what they like.  I ask myself, “what is the point?”  I go there to eat.  I don’t go there to delay my eating by adding what I will myself.  I guess it means that being very specific matters.
One time someone accidently put salt in my tea rather than sugar.  They wondered why I was being so rude when they heard the noise that emulated from me.  Expecting one thing, only to have something completely different present itself, can be hard to swallow.
One poor fella decided to eat how Kuskie eats.  I had pointed out that I eat all around the outside of a burger so that I really enjoy the rest.  He did that, and had just eaten right around the outside when someone ran into him.  The burger dislodged from his hand, and splattered on the ground.  It would not surprise me if I heard he wolfs his food down these days.  I reckon he could have an insecurity about food.  Eat it while you can.  That’ll teach him to listen to Kuskie.
I used to buy fish and chips from a place called Nicks.  I was eating fish when I came across a tooth.  I declared “ooooh look what I found in Nicks fish.  A Tooth!!”  Someone examined my mouth and told me the tooth as mine.  That quietened me down.
My bro bought fish locally in Burpengary.  He accidently left it on top of the car and arrived home with nothing.  I had to go out, and saw the wrapping on the road.  I rang and said I knew exactly what sort of fish he had bought.  Flathead.
I sometimes worked on a counter.  For morning tea I would buy a vanilla slice, which I would take back to the office to eat behind the scenes.  I’ll never forget salivating and opening my mouth to eat, only to have someone appear at the front counter.  Delaying that pleasure was not easy.
To this day I maintain my see food diet.  Which is, I see food, and eat it.  I guess the above is not too bad for a life time of eating.
