Don't Put off to Tomorrow

I designated it a day off.  Boy did I make the most of it.
Merril was visiting her dad.  I had heaps I could do but had said to Merril I think I may have today off.  That is what I did.  I had never had last Thursday off and this coming Thursday we are going to the Sunshine Coast to celebrate my brother’s birthday so I decided today would be a good day to have it off.
I really wanted to try to shake a bug I have and Merril has now too.  I thought rest may do me good.  So I rested.  Slept in the morning and slept in the afternoon.  I am not sure what it has done to the bug, but I know I am well rested.
We had gone out really early and later had McDonald’s with a friend.  I had unpacked the car of containers.  We had collected them Sunday afternoon. I had thought to sort them Monday and had them all put out ready for sorting.
They remain there.  It will happen but I decided not on my day off.  We are really grateful for the containers.  Someone lets us know they have them every couple of months.
If there was a day to take off it was the Monday.  Rainy.  It started well enough.  It was looking fine and mostly cloud free.  Then it changed.  It got overcast and cold with rain coming in in the afternoon.  Good under cover weather.  Was for me anyway.
There are definitely things that remain to be done.  But I am not thinking abut them now.  They do not need to be done until later.
Once I have things settled in my mind, I do not think about them until the appropriate time.  To me worry is considering things ahead of time.  As long as I have apportioned the time to do what needs to be done it is counter productive for me to give it time earlier.  For me, the way to enjoy the moment is to give it the time I have given it rather than letting other things invade that time.
Works for me anyway.  Rest time.
