Dinosaurs

It seems to me that dinosaurs are a sort of kid magnet.  I did see a packet for sale at one time and decided to buy them.  At first I had them in a fish tank but that got sort of grotty.  So I took them out of the fish tank and have them on a set of drawers near where I sit.
I tried to ensure the meat eaters were not with the vegetarians but it did not work so now they are all together and it is each dinosaur for themselves.  So far so good really as none of the meat eaters has eaten the vegetarians.
I could not believe it though; some kids were here (the grandkids of Merril’s sister) and they so gravitated to the dinosaurs.  For me they were just here but for them it was like what they had seen.  I am probably hesitant to admit it but our place is probably on the whole not a kid wonderland.
We do have Foxtel though and the kids programs are pretty popular.  And as I love Pixar movies I guess they could be watched.  They seem to be popular with both kids and adults.  A mate of mine had never seen Cars and watched it with his grandchild.  He loved it.  I love it to.  It is one of my favourite movies ever.
There is no doubt about it though, the dinosaurs were a hit with the kids.
I have mentioned it before but I have out a savage looking dinosaur on the letter box.  It is an attempt to scare off the postman from leaving bills.  A vain attempt though as he still leaves them.
I bring that dinosaur in at Halloween.  I do that because I had a different one on the letterbox and that one disappeared one Halloween night.  Once bitten twice shy.  Not bitten by the dinosaur though.  At least I don’t think so.
That is the extent of our dinosaur collection.  Though I have not checked near the bird feeder.  It is pretty thick vegetation there.  There would be room for a small dinosaur.
