Days Off

Well it is day off day.  By that it is like no appointments.  But already I see major things that need to be done.  We had thought we will have Saturday for other major stuff that needs to happen, but we have just got an email about something we want to go to.  It is an all day thing.
Sunday we have been invite to lunch and we want to go.  Monday we have plans.  All this has transpired recently so what was unplanned time is now taken with stuff we want to do and has to be done.
Today is the day Merril sees her dad.  So while she is there I intend working at one of my rentals.  There is a cupboard that is falling apart in the parking area.  I want to remove it.  It has our stuff in it but I have cleared it with the people that use the parking area and it is seen as ok to go.
I really am only good for a few hours and I see this taking a few hours.  It all depends on the builder though.  I do not want to be in the way.  If I will be (and I am waiting to hear from him) it will be plan b.  Actually there are a number of plan b’s.
Whatever happens it will be a work day.  Eventually I will need to do it.  Really, I could think about work all day.  Except that gets nothing done.  Planning is important to me, but I know there comes a time when planning time is over and something needs to happen.   That time I know is approaching but is not here yet.
It is still early.  Not as early as normal for writing this but too early for heading out.  Besides there are things to do before then.
But work or no work I do like days off.  I like that stuff happens that we have in mind to do rather than stuff we do (and love it) for others.
