Chairs

Chairs are the best!  I could say that, but I don’t believe it.  Charis are the second best!  Sort of does not have the same ring to it.
It is probably just as well I like chairs, as I did a count at this place one time and we had over 100 places to sit.  That figure has since been whittled away, but it is still over 60.  I generally count couches as holding three.  They could hold like 103 but they would preferably be small people and piled high.
A mate of mines wife saw a chair at an op. shop she really liked.  He went and got it and then did research on the web.  It is worth thousands.  Really too good to sit on but that defeats the purpose for me.
None of our chairs are worth thousand.  Not even hundred’s really.  Ten’s might be stretching it to.  A salesman made me laugh.  I got a couch from him that was on special.  He said with the profit he made he could buy one shoe.  He would save for the other one.  Yeah right.  I’m convinced, but I’m really gullible.
We have a few chairs here for little people.  I told a big mate of mine that one of them was for him.  He wasn’t buying it.  Just as well really because it was not for sale.  They have been used once I think.  We have set them up more than that.  Each time though we have put them away unattended.  Just because they are really easy to put in place, I do not want to give that impression.  I would prefer it if you thought that task was really hard.  Only a select few would even attempt it.  They would then need to be consoled in their failure.  But that is not the case.  It is like easy peasy.
I know I need help, but I have always felt that chairs are for people and not things.  Unless there are a multitude of chairs and very few people.
We even have folding chairs to take to an outdoor party.  I remember I went to a party once.  Based on a text I got, Merril and I packed our outdoor chairs and headed to the location.  There was no one there.  Turned out the text had been sent weeks before and related to a different time.
Still, we have enough chairs.  We have never used them all at once.  I reckon to do that I would need to say on Facebook “party at (our address).”  From what I hear many could turn up including it seems some undesirables.  If they did, I could ask them to sit down.  Good chance we would have a chair.
