Chairs

We used to have more chairs but we have gotten rid of some.
I just did a count in my head.  We currently have 68 places to sit.  The more I think about it the more chairs I remember to count.  I have adjusted the figure at least three times so far.
The number of chairs is not bad considering there are two of us.  It includes three couches which I am allowing to hold three each.  The couches could hold more.  Really they could hold eight but no one would be comfortable.
We have six tables with chairs around them.  They all get used at some point.  They are valuable to us and necessary.  One table and chairs is in our “guest” bedroom.  We have had a guest stay their once.  We billeted someone from Canberra.  That room is well set up with little sets of drawers near the double bed with lights on.  It has a clock, paintings and cupboard space.  There is also a connection for a tv which we wheeled in there when we had the guest.
We have three desks that have chairs.  Two are our study desks.  I use mine and Merril uses hers.  I have a computer on mine but I understand the word computer is out.  Device is in.  My device houses my music which since we have obtained a wireless speaker thing lets me play my music anywhere.  Not being tied to one room is really handy.  I am really just catching up.  Others would know no different.
Two of the tables with chairs around them are mostly used for playing games at.  We have a number of board games that can be played.  We have gathered all our games into one place so we know what we have.  I have bought a couple of sets of cards as they seem fairly popular to play.  A couple were recent gifts.  We also bought a couple recently one of which proved popular at New Years Eve.
We have one set of chairs including a couch to watch table tennis at.  That is a good place to watch.  Nice and close to the action and not far to go if it is your turn to play next.
One place is just for sitting.  In is in our bbq area.  The good thing about that place is it is cool.  It can be degrees cooler than in the shed.  That was so unexpected.  We thought that place would be hot.  Turns out there is always a breeze there.  It comes down the sides of buildings and floods the joint.  That is a real bonus.  It is where we sit when using our “Summer Residence.”
Chairs.  I really am over them but they sure come in handy.
