Another

Yesterday reminded me of one of the things people put in the ground that say something like “on this spot in 1755 such and such happened.”  Then there is the send up of that which I have seen that says, “on this spot in 1755 nothing happened.” 
I feel I could put something like that in the ground for yesterday - though it is not quite true. I would say things happened but nothing I had planned.
For Merril it was different.  She did stuff she has been wanting to do for ages.  Namely clean out a cupboard that has been crammed with stuff for years.  She did that yesterday and it is amazing how much we do not need.  There is space to spare in there now.  I am sure it will be populated but with things we will use.
As for me I spent a lot of time looking meaningfully into the middle distance.  I had intended to do a number of things but the very slight rain early put me off, and set the tone for the day.  Sorta reminds me of what I read the other day.  I am going to have today off as I started yesterday and had not finished.”
One thing that did happen though that I am really pleased about is I transferred heaps of stuff from my computer to a back up disk.  I am now using a new computer bought about a week ago.  Today is my first day using it exclusively.  It is an MSI computer.  I have never had one of them before, but it is by a company that has made gaming computers for ages and now makes computers for non-gamers.  Solid and fast with an Intel 7 processor.  I reckon I am giving the impression I know what I am talking about.
Anyway progress has been made, and we will see what today holds.
