All in a day's work

I am doing a few things in the yard.  It is way slower than it ever was, but bit by bit it is happening.
Our week started in the usual fashion.  On Monday morning Merril and I like to pray early.  It is a great way to start the week.  Committing the others and ourselves to Him.
After that we sometimes go to a takeaway joint and have a yarn and something to eat.  Not always but sometimes.
I had a guy coming (with containers) for a chat so all was in readiness when he arrived and containers he had went straight into the vehicle.
I had a heap of containers I needed to deal with.  Good problem.  Last month was the least we have ever received.   This month is shaping up as a good one.  Someone phoned to say they had five bags of containers.  Someone else brought several and another is supplying empty bottles.  We had enough to warrant a mid-month trip as the car was filling fast.
We also went to Bunnings to get some timber for a bench.  We were glad they would cut it.  We got what we needed, and it just fitted in the car.  We also looked at some light tables and found some we think are fit for purpose for a training room.
After that we went and got the bags of containers from the person who had made the phone call.  Then we had some business to attend to in a shopping centre.  We did that then took the containers we had to Containers for cash.  They were worth over $70.
After that we were free.  We had lunch and then a rest.  Merril had a session with a chiropractor, and I did some stuff in the yard.  It may seem like shifting things from one place to another, but I do have a grand plan.  I would like our back yard to be more park land than garden.  It is slow but it is happening.
We spent an hour or so burning off some papers in a weber that doubles as our fire pit.  We were happy with what was done.  We especially liked sitting at the end and watching what was flying overhead.  It was a beautiful evening.
