All In A Day's Work

Here it is not long after 6am, and Merril has gone to her dad’s place.
Big day today.  This morning someone is coming to where she is to put all the furniture in a truck.  Some stuff is going elsewhere, and a couple of things are coming here.  I am at home preparing for the stuff that is coming here.
We are organizing a guest room in what was our garage.  The floor has been covered a while.  Merril has a plan we saw on the internet, which we want to follow a much as we can at the moment.  Also there is another outdoor setting coming which we have a spot for.
The spot needed to be cleared which we did yesterday and I will blow out the area in preparation.  I cannot blow out yet as it is before 7am but I have a few things to do before then.  Including this.
Today is rubbish day so I have taken the bin down.  It did get added to a few times.  It is full and I needed to press stuff down so I could get in more.  We have one of the older bins which is smaller than people get at the moment.
So Merril will direct the loading of the truck and then come home.  I will be at home to take what is coming here.  I will prepare the room and that will take about an hour I reckon.  Still it is coming together.
All the while we are working our way around the property tidying up and getting rid of stuff we deem not to need and that we think we never will.  We are both happy with what is happening, but acknowledge it will probably take several months to do.
In the meantime, there is stuff arriving which is sort of awkward, but it is stuff we have a use for.
Changing habits is not easy.  We were great keepers thinking we may use that one day.  So really there is over 120 years combined experience of doing things one way and now changing ways.
This afternoon and tonight we have something we are going to, so it looks like being a full day.  That is ok.  We expected it and are looking forward to the final result.  The circumstances are not what we would choose, but it was inevitable.
