Agenda's

I find it weird.  It must be weird, as this is coming from someone who is weird themselves.
It all started with a Bob Dylan song.  I think it was called “Covenant Woman.” He sang “you were telling them about Budda, you were telling them about Mohamad in one breath, you never mentioned one time the man who came and died a criminal’s death.”  What I find weird, is how it is perfectly acceptable to talk about anything but Jesus or Christianity.  The only time we hear it talked about, is in negative terms.
We don’t hear the word “Budda” as an obsanity.  Nor do we hear the word Mohammad, yet the word Jesus is used as one.  To me, when something is said between two consenting adults that is one thing, but when kids are involved, or someone is offended, it may be time to step in.
My thinking has always been to try to speak to the majority of people if I can.  It may mean forgoing saying something.  If it is not a life and death matter then maybe it does not really matter.  Declaring allegiance to either the Labour or Liberal parties would immediately exclude close to half the population.  To me that is not worth it.  I vote a certain way but to me neither party is “the answer.” 
Anyway I was thinking about why Christianity is a taboo subject.  I must admit whatever is taboo arouses my interest, and I need to find out why if I can.  What I have found is, that often something is taboo because of someone’s agenda.
Agenda’s are everywhere.  We all have them.  It seems to me the denial of involvement in the downing of the Malaysian flight over the Ukraine by Russia, is agenda driven.  Some agenda’s concern me.  Embracing them means we can not know the truth and move on. 
Political Correctness is agenda driven.  It seems there are things we are not supposed to say.  Saying them may not be the opinion of most, but often the loudest voice wins.  All that does not agree with the agenda is excluded, or those that oppose the agenda are made to look foolish.  I will never forget being told of an interview with someone.  All they said was excluded bar nine words.  Those word’s changed completely what they were saying.  It was taken out of context.  Only what fitted the agenda was included.  I saw a show on tv.  It seemed to indicate one sort of behaviour was common place.  It made me wonder how much was excluded to push the agenda.
It seems that to only talk about Christianity in negative terms is agenda driven.  This does not sum up my agenda.
