A Good Start

I have felt for a long time that I am a morning person but the last couple of days have reinforced that to me more than ever.
I get up super early.  It is not like a forced thing but something I want and am ready to do.
Why it has become more real to me than ever is that Friday I had a list and took great delight in racing around and coming back and crossing things off the list as they were done.  Some things I always do but put down as a reminder to myself to do, like feed the birds, have a prayer time, and wash up.
Other things were one offs like send someone an email or do up a sign for the markets we have some Saturdays.  I felt very much like I was on a roll.
After lunch is cleaning time.  I have discovered I am more zombie like after lunch.  We always get done what we are going to do, but getting home and to bed seems more and more attractive.
Saturday morning was a similar story even when going out.
I set up our market on Friday for attending Saturday.  I was actually amazed.  Merril was at home and said she would pray.  I had very little to sell and though I may make a couple of dollars only.
I could not believe it.  People wanted to buy things that have never sold before.  One lady got cushion covers for her daughter and could not decide what colour she wanted so bought all three colours for sale (each colour contained eight cushion covers.)  Another lady was starting a market garden so bought just about every book there was on gardening.  We sold more DVD’s then we ever have and even sunnies went because someone had their pair accidently broken and wanted new ones.
In the end I made what I like to make each day.  I also was able to chat with people.  One guy told me he was born in the Congo and stayed until it went mad and for safety reasons he was told to get out.  Someone said your Australian now and we have work for you in Cairns.  Long story short he ended up marrying and coming to Burpengary.
Again though, in the afternoon I was not good except for sleep, but I did that very well.
