60k

I have a web site that is built on the Weebly platform.  I have posted heaps of stuff there including any article I put on Facebook.  I am basically using it as a repository for anything that matters to me.  I do know that once my domain expires it will all disappear.  By then, I will have disappeared to, so it won’t matter to me.  I don’t know that anyone will keep it alive as a memorial to me.  Nothing I could do about it anyway.
I find Weebly really easy to use.  I also have a Wix site I set up and am responsible for.  I find it even easier.  Slightly more expensive, but I like using it a lot.
I am into easy these days.  I had a Drupal site and started to learn Wordpress, but gave it away.  I felt it was the same but different.  I did not want to spend hours mastering it.  Weebly is drag and drop.  Simple, but looks good.  Besides, if I could master it easily others can too and there are few things worse to me than a web site known only by one.
I am writing about that as I have a friend that has a Weebly site also.  We occasionally get together to assist each other and learn new tricks.  The thing is, I look at her site and the visitors are in the hundreds.  I look at mine and it is flat lining.  Ok, hers is a business, but I can’t help feeling the lessor, for the lessor visitors. 
It affects my manhood.  It would matter less if it was closer.  But it is like hundreds to one.    Lately for me one would represent an explosion of growth.  I must admit I was pretty excited when I saw my unique visitors were like more than 10.  I am really hoping that unique does not mean, so different they should not be touched with a 10 foot pole.
One thing she does in Weebly that I have not done is use apps.  Judging by what I saw I think I will need to, to give the impression there are people visiting.  One app she uses looked like it starts the count at 60,000.  I could say 60k really casually.  It would disguise that I had fainted and needed water poured over me to revive me.
That is the way it looks, but I could be wrong.  I have been wrong before.  Actually, I have been wrong many times before, but lets keep that between ourselves.  There are few things worse than a shattered image.
I could really impress visitors to our place by distracting them at the flat line bit and needing to visit the app.  Ok “need” is a relative word.   Still I would “need” to for my own self-image.  I would linger on the page until I was sure my visitor had seen 60k.
I could take away all the zero’s though, and it would be a red-letter day for me.  But that is for me to know.  I could nonchalantly move away from the 60k page and have my visitor all agog.  They would be looking at me differently.  They would be wondering, what is my secret?
That is what it would remain. A secret.
