2700 and Counting

I keep a record of my posts.  This is post 2700.  2700 represents 7.39726027 years to be exact.  I post every day and have had a few days where I did not, when people close to me passed away.  I know the yearly figures do not include leap years, but I would say at the very least I have posted 7 years worth of stuff.
I do not always pause to celebrate milestones but this time I am.  For me it is significant.  It is just one of those things.  I decided that every day I would post.  It has actually been a really good exercise for me as it has seen me explore a variety of topics.  These have included famous speeches, dictionary words, quotes and personal experiences to name a few.
What has amazed me is I have come up with various topics.  I really thought I would run out of ideas.  But I have not.  I may have repeated myself at times, but I figure I am at that age anyway.  What repetition has actually been about, is coming at things that matter to me from different angles.
I know I have written several times on love.  I must admit that to me that matters big time.  Not just talking about it but doing it. Not just a gushy feeling but a choice.  Not just love for those that are close to me but those that do not have my best interests at heart.
There is no doubt in my mind from experience that is a doozy.  It is not always what I do but it is always what I aspire to.  It is something that may be hard at the start but gets easier with practice.
Something I have seen in recent times is that forgiveness is not just saying “I forgive” but really deep down wanting em to be got.  It is wanting the best for someone.  It is letting someone go to the point where my actions towards them are not motivated by anger or my pain, but by genuine good will.
Ok that is hard and I need help to do it, but it is a place of no regrets.  I am better off and so is the object of my ire and then good will.
Anyway 2,700.  Thank you for taking the journey with me.  The next 2700 promise to be interesting.
